🌟Meet Erin, our esty student of the month!🌟

Erin chose TIGI because "as most of you know, my career plan switched up as well as the school, until I walked into TIGI. I knew this was where I belong!
After meeting the staff and seeing the students, how focused they were, I just knew this school was going to help me with my dreams."❤️
Erin`s says she doesn`t have someone who`s inspired her however, she has pushed herself to get where she is now. After facing medical and personal challenges that have happened, she`s never given up at completing her dreams.
Erin has always wanted to join the industry as "it`s simple girl math". She loves helping people feel good about themselves. Transforming someone with beauty puts the biggest smile on her face. When she first started lash extensions, were going to be her niche however, she soon realized doing facials and helping people with their skin has started to grow on her!
We asked Erin what our culture means to her-" honestly I don`t know where to start, the staff here shows so much pride, joy and their work, that pushes me to be and become better. The passion and positive vibes in the school really helps students to grow and complete their dreams."
A fun fact about Erin- "well, some know, but I am a type 1 diabetic that struggles with it, but when I was in my coma in October, I had one dream that I actually remember, and that was opening my own salon/spa with skincare and beauty."

Erin is an outstanding student to have with us, we are so blessed she chose TIGI to begin achieving her dreams. She has a positive outlook regardless of what she has going on in her personal life, she works hard and is always eager to perfect her craft. She has big goals that we know she will achieve and we are so excited to watch her continue to grow and succeed! ❤️

DD is currently enrolled in the barber program here at TIGI! In her own words, her decision to come to TIGI was “not personal, it was vibrational,” her goal was to surround herself with people who matched her vibe 🤘🏼 DDs love for barbering comes from her desire to learn something new every day, she says “It you’re not learning, what are you doin?” She gets her inspiration from striving to make people feel good. And becoming a barber is her way to make a lasting effect! Something that DD has enjoyed learning and excelling at is color 🎨
To DD our TIGI culture is all about acceptance. A fun fact about DD is that she has heterochromia, she has one blue eye and one green eye

Tyler is currently enrolled in the barber program! He chose TIGI for the educational experiences in barbering that we offer and also the opportunities we provide for our students for the most successful future.
His inspiration comes from his parents and friends. They encouraged Tyler to get into barbering after they saw his artistic gifts. He also says that he loves a new challenge to improve his skills and change his future for the better.
Tyler joined this industry to learn more about fading hair and he loves the improvement of his time management. Learning about fading hair is his current favorite, the challenges he faces to perfect his craft keep him on his toes.
“The culture here at TIGI means building connections with others and taking care of the community.”
A fun fact about Tyler: “ I enjoy cooking great recipes, snowboarding down black diamonds, powerlifting to keep my body in shape, and reading the Holy Bible.”

During his time here, Tyler has shown a great amount of growth. Were so thankful to watch him grow and build his confidence as he continues along in the program. Tyler is kind and dependable, his fellow students and educators all agree he goes above and beyond. He’s truly deserving of this spotlight, we are excited to watch him achieve all of his goals!

⭐️Meet Paige, our student of the week!!⭐️

Paige is currently enrolled in esthetics program here at TIGI! She chose our school due to the in depth curriculum. “They hold their students to higher standards and that’s what I want. I don’t want an easy grade.”
Her inspiration comes from her own skin journey. “I myself had horrible acne. I didn’t know what to do for it. I wish I knew about estheticians back then and was taught the proper way to take care of my skin. I want to be able to teach others and make sure everyone feels confident in their own skin.”
Paige has an always wanted to join the beauty industry. After leaving the military earlier this year she realized she really had no passion for the IT field anymore. She loves skin care and always found herself researching it so she decided to turn curiosity and passion into a career so far, her favorite thing that she has learned is eyebrow shaping. She also really loves facials!
To paige the TIGI culture is all about providing the best service possible. “Also, to always be encouraging to others by being supportive of their goals and milestones.”
A fun fact about paige is that she loves to see and crochet. She’s super artsy and loves making things for people.

Although Paige has only been with us a short time, she has shown so much growth. She’s has a positive attitude and is eager to learn all there is here at TIGI. We are so thankful she chose to begin a new career with us! We know she will use her passion for this industry to go far! 🌟

Kayla chose TIGI Hairdressing Academy for the fact that we had a very welcoming environment. Everyone seems so professional and nice which she felt was a very important factor.

She chose TIGI Hairdressing Academy as all of the stylists at her salon recommended us. After seeing all the great work from the stylists she works with, she thought the program would be the best fit!
Maddy’s inspiration comes from her mom! Her hard work has taught her that she can achieve anything she puts her mind to.
She chose this industry based on the impact it has on people’s lives. Maddy says the best feeling is turning your client around and watching their face light up with the confidence they didn’t come in with. Maddy LOVES blonding! Which we think she absolutely excels at!

Hailey was interested in joiningTIGI based on the name itself but stayed for the curriculum! She wanted to learn the TIGI way.
Hailey’s inspiration comes from her ability to always find something unique in her life. She says it’s important to have your own style. She gets a lot of her inspiration from herself. There are many times when inspiration comes to mind as “sudden twinkles” as she describes as her lightbulb moment. Hailey has been a make up artist in Korea for 13 years. She has always been happy to work in the beauty industry. She’s always wanted to be more active with her and now it’s her time.
She believes that TIGI culture means art. Hailey says that all art is based on foundation and beauty is also art. TIGI = Art ❤️
A fun fact about Hailey? “I have white & transparent cat hair next to my nose! 😝🐈”

We just love having Hailey here with us! She has shown a tremendous amount of talent and growth during her time here. Beauty and skin have always been a passion of Samantha‘s, it’s something she always came back to after trying different things. Eyelash extensions are by far her favorite thing we touched base on.

Vinny chose TIGI hairdressing Academy because his barber suggested he started going to school for barbering and since his barber graduated from here, he suggested to look into this place. Vinny says his family is his biggest inspiration for absolutely everything he does.
As a kid he realized if he wanted to feel good and confident he needed to look good. When Vinny realized that this industry is all about helping people feel good, he instantly became infatuated with that. He feels proud when someone leaves his chair feeling good. Meet Augustus, our barbering student of the week✨

Augustus chose TIGI Hairdressing Academy because honestly, it was the first barbering program he found on a Google search. He did have another tour planned but when he did his tour with TIGI, he truly enjoyed the staff and atmosphere!
His inspiration comes from his hard-working and brilliant wife, most of all, but also all the wonderful, creative teachers, and students who have made realizing their dreams an achievable goal. Augustus didn’t always want to join the industry, it took a lot of life lived to reach this point, but he truly appreciates all the techniques and knowledge that has been imparted on him.
TIGI Hairdressing Academy culture means “kindness and patience, combined with passion. if it weren’t for all the hard-working instructors who live by those standards, I wouldn’t be here!” Fun fact about Augustus is that he loves the winter and outdoors! All winter he is snowboarding and in the summer backpacking. He actually started dating his wife when she flew out to meet him at the end of a 250 mile backpacking trip in California.

Augustus has truly been an exceptional student throughout his time with us. His enthusiasm for learning is abundant and he radiates a positive energy wherever he goes. We have thoroughly enjoyed witnessing his growth as a creative force in the industry and eagerly anticipate his future accomplishments. 🎉🤩

Olivia chose TIGI because of how clean and professional it was along with the amazing staff! It is always a fun atmosphere with lots to learn everyday. Her friends and teachers at TIGI are her inspiration. “Everyone is just so encouraging and kind.” She has always wanted to do esthetics ever since she found out it was a thing. From skin care, to make up and waxing, it’s just always been something she wanted to learn more about and pursue. “TIGI Hairdressing Academy culture means finding joy and love for what you want to do! Along with spreading the good vibes“. A fun fact about Olivia: “I have had 21 piercings, some done by myself.”

Heather chose TIGI Hairdressing Academy because the environment and vibe were welcoming, and the brightness of the school was set up as inviting. Her inspiration has come from different areas throughout her life, but she remains inspired by the support and encouragement from her husband and kids. Heather has always had an interest in hair but it was never a career she felt she could pursue. In her time here, she has learned many techniques, but her favorite technique is fading down to not create extra lines in the hair. A fun fact about Heather is she is custom cake designer and former instructor for baking at a local culinary Institute.
